At John Nagle Co., Jonathan is our Oyster Logistics Coordinator (OLC). OLC is a job that is dependent on speed and care; keeping the oysters cool during transportation is crucial because doing so safeguards both the product and our customers. Ensuring the oysters are kept safe is not something new for Jonathan; he has an extensive background in food safety and oyster knowledge.

Our New Look

Our New Look

2017 was a significant and historic year for the John Nagle Co. – we celebrated our 130th anniversary. The event offered the opportunity to reflect on our past with great appreciation, and to prepare for our future with a renewed sense of purpose and commitment. Our reflection led us to initiate a project to refresh our brand with an updated logo and a redesigned website.

The Boston Seafood Show

The Boston Seafood Show

We are so excited to participate in the 2018 Boston Seafood Show (Seafood Expo North America - SENA18), when the world’s seafood industry once again takes over the historic Boston Seaport. Year after year, the three-day show allows us to reconnect with our domestic and overseas customers, long-standing vendors and industry partners from far and wide.

Employee Highlight — Carl Santheson

Carl grew up in the seafood industry, working alongside his father and grandfather in their family business. When he was eight, he packed sea worms into bait boxes and picked the broken shells out of the daily clam catch. By the time he was a teenager, he was offloading fish from the boats, working behind the retail counter, or making customer deliveries – whatever needed to be done to keep the business humming and the customers happy.
